Lavender essential oil is obtained by hydro distillation of the flowering tops of Lavandula sp. Its smell has an herbal note with fresh, rising, flowered with a sweet note of camphor, with light accents of milk and honey, slightly minty. Lavender essential oil is an expectorant of the first order, active in all the lung diseases common. In first intention, it is of good help to relieve burns.
