"Dvara" Shelf

Inspired by old ornamental fireplaces, the DVARA shelf offers remarkable craftsmanship. Made entirely by hand, the friezes covering the entire perimeter are finely crafted and are reminiscent of Indian door tops. The height between the two shelves is impeccable for storing books and the top will gladly accommodate a light. Topped with a large mirror or a painting, this shelf will be sublimated and will make your room more warm. Sheesham, or Indian rosewood, is a dark-hued wood marbled with black and purple. Native to northern India, this wood has a uniform texture and offers tones ranging from gold to dark brown. Extremely dense, it is the oriental equivalent of solid walnut. Very resistant, this noble material requires little maintenance and will withstand the onslaught of time.
