Sheesham, or Indian rosewood, is a wood with dark hues, marbled with black and purple. Native to northern India, this wood has a uniform texture and offers tones ranging from gold to dark brown. Extremely dense, it is the eastern equivalent of solid walnut. Very resistant, this noble material requires little maintenance and will withstand the onslaught of time.
