Sheesham, or Indian rosewood is a dark-hued wood, marbled with black and purple. Native to northern India, this wood has a uniform texture and offers tones ranging from gold to dark brown. Extremely dense, it is the oriental equivalent of solid walnut. Very resistant, this noble material requires little maintenance and will withstand the onslaught of time. All the furniture we offer is made of solid wood and handmade by artisans from North India. Some small differences may exist making each piece unique.
